Would you like to be part of a flexible and innovative approach to teaching and learning?
Trades Norwest is looking for an experienced person to lead the development of teaching and learning in our innovative integrated approach to senior studies. The College has a unique alternative learning environment that caters to the learning styles of students in Years 10, 11 and 12 who are engaging in school-based apprenticeships while completing their final years of schooling.
The College follows a program of study that supports students entering into school-based apprenticeships in a more adult style learning environment. The learning materials are developed for delivery through an on-line learning platform that allows for self-paced progression.
The right person for this position will be capable of leading and working in a highly collaborative team, practised in problem solving using reflective practices and who is excited to be able to see rapid personal and academic growth in the students at our College.
This position will interest those who are experienced in managing teaching programs, possibly as Head of Department. The ability to work on timetabling with Edval would be an advantage as well as experience in the Canvas Learning Management System.
